Many people today may feel uncomfortable because their teeth have become yellow and discoloured. In fact, over time, certain foods and drinks can damage our teeth, whether it's because of smoking or poor dental hygiene.

Tooth whitening treatment brightens the natural tooth colour without damaging the enamel or tooth surface. This treatment will give you a beautiful smile that will give you confidence.

How Do Dentures Work?

Tooth whitening in Bali can work in different ways. A common method is to use a whitening agent to remove stains and discolouration on the teeth. This whitening material can be in the form of a gel, paste or strip that is applied to the teeth.

Another common method is to use a laser to remove stains and discolouration from the teeth. At our dental clinic in Bali, we will perform a whitening procedure using 6% hydrogen peroxide or 10% to 16% carbamide peroxide to lighten the natural tooth colour.

What Is the Process?

During your first appointment, we will examine your teeth and gums to make sure they are free of any disease or cavities. We will also discuss your goals and wishes for whitening your teeth. The process begins with getting a mouth guard that fits your mouth shape.

Once ready, after examining your teeth and gums, our dentists will prepare your mouth for the whitening procedure. This usually involves placing a rubber dam (a small sheet of latex) over your teeth to protect your gums and mouth tissue from the whitening gel. The rubber stopper also helps keep the gel on your teeth where it can have the most impact.

Treatment takes about three weeks. You may notice improvements within the first few days, but it may take up to three weeks to see the best results.
